The only reason I did not give one star is because my colonoscopy was done without any issues or delays and on time in 8-11-22 at their 1269 Wellbrook Cir NE, Conyers, GA location. Dr. Eric D. Davis was the medical doctor who did my colonoscopy. He was professional and reassuring that day. He even said "Soror I will take good care of you" and that "I am an Alpha". My covid mask was a pink and green AKA mask. The lady Anesthesiologist came in to ask me questions prior to the colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures and she stated she would speak with Dr Davis because she did not feel this outpatient clinic was not a good place for my to gave my endoscopy done due to me having a SCI and hardware in my cervical spine. Dr Davis came in a few minutes later saying he agrees with the Anesthesiologist and that he would have his staff schedule that part of the test at the Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers. This is where the good service fell apart and has yet to be resolved and I have yet to have my endoscopy done and it is now 10-11-22. I have called Dr Davis's office and staff at least 5 or 6 times. I keep getting the run around. They did send me to the hospital for some test called a Barium Swallow Test on 8-31-22. I have NEVER received the results of that test even though I KNOW there was a problem during the test and I could see their xray machine with the stuff stuck in my throat!! Now when I keep calling their offices I get told it is the hospitals fault and they have to schedule you. At this point, they can all kiss my A and climb a tree! My health is important to me and I have been doing my due diligence to try and get what I need outside if the VA Medical Center because of the delays they have. I am a 100% disabled combat veteran, medically retired from the US Army, and this is the thanks I Fxn get?! I am ANGRY! I thought it was tough dealing with the VA but I see the civilian sector is just as bad, probably worse because they do not have the same checks and balances as the VAMC System. I am going to throw color in this now because healthcare disparities for Africans or African Americans is on the front pages of the news lately. I am a black woman war veteran (Combat Military Police NCO) fighting for what could be my life, again! Dr Davis being a black male doctor I guess is too busy to thoroughly care for all of his patients and I have fallen through the cracks. If I were his sister, daughter, aunt or mother would I get this same lack of treatment and care? I am being honest, I thought a black doctor would care more about me without any hidden discrimination. So much for a sworn oath, whatever that Oath of Hippocrates is or says is falling short. I don't know if it is his staff or not. He has not spoken with me directly since waking up from the colonoscopy. This is subpar and incomplete medical care. My final statement is personal now...this is one more reason I don't care for Alpha Phi Alpha brothers! Phrist Pham my behind! One more reason I LOVE the brothers of Omega Psi Phi! I have NEVER had this type of inadequacies in healthcare with ANY medical doctors or surgeons who are Ques! I refuse to return to any of this medical practitioner's facilities.
